I had been introduced to cats at about five years of age and there have been cats in my life ever since. I have always wanted to breed but when I got married my wife was more of a dog lover so we settled for a dog. We Had "Bruce" for two years until we had to let him go as he was very jealous of me and bit Valerie my wife. I still wanted to get a cat but Valerie was not keen and we had just moved to a new house with Stephen my son of two and Sarah aged six months, this was a week before the big storm of 1987. Two days later when I opened the front door in walked a bedraggled Siamese cat who quickly made himself at home. I made enquiries left posters and phoned my vet to no avail, so we had adopted a new member to the family. To my amazement Valerie got very attached to him, and just when he had settled down his real owners knocked at the door and took him home. We were all a little sad so we decided we would at last have a kitten. As I had Siamese cats before we decided to go for a Siamese kitten. We bought "Coco" a chocolate point from a breeder in Sussex who also breed Balinese, I had never seen a Bali But it was love at first site so Sophie a seal tortie joined the family three months later. Coco was two small to breed with but Sophie gave me five lovely litters before she stopped producing milk with the loss of two litters. I have breed Balinese Angoras and Orientals and I am now trying breeding Cinnamon Siamese and Oriental kittens.
